Just returned from India after 3 weeks and have been catching up on e-mail. Here is, without a doubt, my favorite mail from my time away (names and addresses withheld to protect all parties involved):
Comedian Needed for A&E Bio Category: Lifestyle & Entertainment Media Outlet/Publication: A&E Specific Geographic Region? RECOGNIZABLE NAME A PLUS."................................................................
1. I was doing fine until the "fond affection" part. If they just wanted comedians for this, we'd all be lining up...though a roast and a biography are different creatures I suppose.
2. Steven Segal's "persona." PERSONA? It's all an act?
3. Seriously, A & E? Once your
Biography program gets to Steven Segal, maybe it's time to slow it down a bit. Please tell me Paul Robeson and Kurt Vonnegut have episodes already. Please tell me you thought of them both before Steven Segal...and that you know who they are. Please tell me your staff consists of more than a bunch of E! Channel rejects.
Please.
