Hari Kondabolu's Fake Acting Reel
After much hype and delay, here is "Hari Kondabolu's Fake Acting Reel." It was shot in November 2008 in San Francisco and features appearances from several notable SF comics including Alex Koll (who directed and edited it), Sean Keane, Chris Garcia and Mary Van Note. Enjoy:
As some of you might know, I've been a fan of Jay Smooth and his Ill Doctrine for quite some time. Jay is able to take big issues like politics, hip hop, and race and present them in a well-reasoned, well-delivered and quite funny video essay in less than 5 minutes. They are edited cleverly and give you something to digest and recirculate easily to your friends, family and co-workers. His piece "How to Tell People They Sound Racist" has been a tremendous resource to me and has been used in colleges and workplaces throughout the U.S. as a training tool.
All this being said, I am very proud to share this video I made with Jay for his new Nil Doctrine page. It's a little piece about healthcare entitled "Health Care and the Lost Art of Compromise."
